Welcome to Vicksburg Middle School's Website!
We are pleased that you have visited our site and we would greatly appreciate an opportunity to have you visit our school. When you visit VMS in person you will find a great group of approximately 600 students in grades 6, 7, and 8. We are proud of our students who strive to show Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility in everything they do at VMS. We have a staff of highly qualified teachers who truly create a fun, interactive, and rich educational experience for every child in our building. Our teachers are always willing to meet with you in regards to any questions you may have about your child's progress. If you have any questions in regards to your child's progress at any time, please take the time to contact their teacher to discuss strategies for success in the classroom.
We at VMS are a CARING community of learners where each individual gives an HONEST effort, RESPECTS all others and takes RESPONSIBILITY for self!

Meijer Dignity and Respect Recipients
Each month the Meijer Dignity and Respect Award recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding qualities of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility. The monthly winners receive a $25.00 gift card to Meijer, a letter from the principal, and recognition in the Paws of Fame bulletin board.

Infinite Campus Parent Portal
Vicksburg Community Schools is pleased to provide the Infinite Campus Parent Portal
communication tool for parents. The District understands that parental access to information is a
critical link in guiding and supporting students. The Parent Portal connects parents/guardians to
students’ data online, anytime, from any convenient location that has high speed internet access.
It is designed to help parents stay up-to-date with their children’s (and only their children’s)
assignments, activities and academic progress. Parents can view assignment details, email
teachers, track attendance, and print report cards and transcripts. Teachers, counselors and staff
publish information as it becomes available giving parents immediate access to ongoing student
performance. Schools post announcements, important notices, meetings and other “backpack”
type messages onto the portal, allowing busy families to schedule, plan and stay informed. The
Parent Portal is a free service to our district families.
The following links will provide you with the forms and instructions to sign up for and begin using the Parent Portal. These forms are also available in the Middle School office.
Vicksburg Band Fundraiser Makes Cents!
Here is an easy way to support the Vicksburg Band and your band student.
