"Give and Take" Dates for 2013/2014 6th-8th Grade Students

"Give and Take" will be held on August 22nd and August 26th, 2013, for all incoming 6th grade, 7th and 8th grade VMS students. Two sessions will be held each day: 10:00—1:00 and 3:00—6:00

Early Release/Late Start Information

Dear Parents,

This year we have scheduled five Late Start/Early Release Days with an important difference; the times have been flipped between Elementary and Secondary. On those days secondary students will start later than normal, and elementary will dismiss earlier than usual. Teaching staff will spend the time analyzing student achievement data, determining next steps to make a difference, curriculum development, and other related school improvement work.

In an effort to improve system practices, Tobey Elementary School is conducting a Parent Survey. We value your opinion and ask that you take the time to complete this survey. Student Drop Off Times

Just a reminder to parents that students should be dropped off no earlier than 8:40 a.m. Kids Klub is available and opens at 6:30 a.m. if your child needs to be dropped off earlier than 8:40 a.m.

Just a reminder that our library subscribes to the World Book Web – an online reference site for elementary-aged students featuring easy-to-read articles, thousands of illustrations and photographs, and engaging, educational activities. Our World Book subscription allows us to give families access to this valuable reference source from their home computer 365 days a year at no charge!
