One of the jewels of Vicksburg is the Community Schools Foundation. Since its inception, the Foundation has enjoyed a strong reputation of providing support for educational innovation here in Vicksburg. It is because of the generosity of private citizens, school staff, civic groups, local business, and the Vicksburg Foundation that the Community Schools Foundation Board has been able to expend over $700,000 in support of innovation.
